"He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God". (NKJV)
This article is the 3rd of a 4-part Series containing 12 of a list of 37 Messainic prophecies that have been already fulfilled concerning Our "Messiah" Christ Jesus. Each "fulfilled" prophecy is listed in the order in which they actually occurred in history. They concern the "first coming" of Jesus Christ, the "Lamb of God" that came to take away the "SIN" of the world. These prophecies concern His birth, ministry, death, burial, resurrection, and ascension. All "unfulfilled" prophecies concerning Jesus concern His "Second Coming".
At present, Jesus occupies the office of our Great High Priest, sitting at the "right hand" of God, interceding in our behalf until it's time He take off His "Robe of the Priesthood" and put's on the "Robe of Judgment" and return to earth and set up His Messianic Kingdom for 1000 years.
Jesus: "Rejected By His Own People- The Jews"...Fulfilled in John 1:10-11 and Luke 23:18-25
Isaiah 53:2-3 (Prophecy)
"For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him."
(NKJV)
Isaiah 53:7-8
"He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken".
(NKJV)
John 1:10-12 (Fulfillment)
He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him". (NKJV)
Luke 23:18-25
And they all cried out at once, saying, "Away with this Man, and release to us Barabbas" who had been thrown into prison for a certain rebellion made in the city, and for murder. Pilate, therefore, wishing to release Jesus, again called out to them. But they shouted, saying, "Crucify Him, crucify Him!" Then he said to them the third time, "Why, what evil has He done? I have found no reason for death in Him. I will therefore chastise Him and let Him go." But they were insistent, demanding with loud voices that He be crucified. And the voices of these men and of the chief priests prevailed. So Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they requested. And he released to them the one they requested, who for rebellion and murder had been thrown into prison; but he delivered Jesus to their will. (NKJV)
_________________________________________________________________________________________Jesus: A "Priest After The Order Of Melchezdek"...Fulfilled in Hebrews 5:5-6
Psalms 110:4 (Prophecy)
"The Lord has sworn and will not revoke or change it: You are a priest forever, after the manner and order of Melchizedek". (AMPLIFIED)
Hebrews 5:1-11 (Fulfilled)
"For every high priest taken from among men is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins. He can have compassion on those who are ignorant and going astray, since he himself is also subject to weakness. Because of this he is required as for the people, so also for himself, to offer sacrifices for sins. And no man takes this honor to himself, but he who is called by God, just as Aaron was".
"A Priest Forever"
"So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him:
You are My Son, Today I have begotten You." As He also says in another place: "You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek"; who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear, though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, called by God as High Priest "according to the order of Melchizedek," of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. (NKJV)

Mark 11:1-11 (Fulfillment)
"WHEN THEY were getting near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, He sent ahead two of His disciples And instructed them, Go into the village in front of you, and as soon as you enter it, you will find a colt tied, which has never been ridden by anyone; unfasten it and bring it [here]. If anyone asks you, Why are you doing this? answer, The Lord needs it, and He will send it back here presently. So they went away and found a colt tied at the door out in the [winding] open street, and they loosed it. And some who were standing there said to them, What are you doing, untying the colt? And they replied as Jesus had directed them, and they allowed them to go".
"And they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their outer garments upon it, and He sat on it. And many [of the people] spread their garments on the road, and others [scattered a layer of] leafy branches which they had cut from the fields. And those who went before and those who followed cried out [with a cry of happiness], Hosanna! [Be graciously inclined and propitious to Him!] Praised and blessed is He Who comes in the name of the Lord! Praised and blessed in the name of the Lord is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna (O save us) in the highest [heaven]"! (AMPLIFIED)

Then some stood up and gave this false testimony against him: "We heard him say, 'I will destroy this man-made temple and in three days will build another, not made by man.'" Yet even then their testimony did not agree. Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, "Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?" But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. (NIV)

Jesus: "Hated Without A Real Cause":...Fulfilled in John 15: 21-25Psalms 35:19-21 (Prophecy)
"Let them not rejoice over me who are wrongfully my enemies; Nor let them wink with the eye who hate me without a cause. For they do not speak peace, But they devise deceitful matters
Against the quiet ones in the land. They also opened their mouth wide against me, And said, "Aha, aha! Our eyes have seen it." (NKJV)
Psalms 69:4
"They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away. (KJV)
John 15:21-25 (Fulfillment)
"But they will do all this to you [inflict all this suffering on you] because of [your bearing] My name and on My account, for they do not know or understand the One Who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin [would be blameless]; but now they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates Me also hates My Father. If I had not done (accomplished) among them the works which no one else ever did, they would not be guilty of sin. But [the fact is] now they have both seen [these works] and have hated both Me and My Father. But [this is so] that the word written in their Law might be fulfilled, They hated Me without a cause. Jesus: "Our Vicarious Sacrifice":...Fulfilled in Romans 5:6-11
Isaiah 53:3-6 (Prophecy)
"He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way, And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all".
(NKJV)
Romans 5:1-12 (Fulfillment)
" For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation". (NKJV)

Jesus: "Crucified with Criminals":...fulfilled in Mark 15:22-28
Isaiah 53:12 (Prophecy)
"Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors". (NKJV)
Mark 15:21-32 (Fulfillment
"And they brought Him to the place Golgotha, which is translated, Place of a Skull. Then they gave Him wine mingled with myrrh to drink, but He did not take it. And when they crucified Him, they divided His garments, casting lots for them to determine what every man should take. Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him. And the inscription of His accusation was written above:
"THE KING OF THE JEWS".
With Him they also crucified two robbers, one on His right and the other on His left. So the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And He was numbered with the transgressors." And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying, "Aha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself, and come down from the cross!" Likewise the chief priests also, mocking among themselves with the scribes, said, "He saved others; Himself He cannot save. Let the Christ, the King of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe." Even those who were crucified with Him reviled Him. "NKJV"
